Michael Clarke Duncan

Biography

Michael Clarke Duncan (December 12, 1957 – September 3, 2012) was an American actor. He was best known for his breakout role as John Coffey in The Green Mile (1999), which earned him Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actor. He also starred in the films Armageddon (1998), Daredevil (2003), and Talladega Nights (2006). Duncan passed away in 2012 from a heart attack at the age of 54.
